The 2013 season was the last of the V8 era before the regulation change in 2014. Red Bull had won every championship since 2010 and were favourites to do the double again along with Sebastian Vettel to win the drivers championship.
The first half of the season saw 5 different winners before Sebastian Vettel won a record 9 races in a row between the summer break and the end of the season. The record however was broken 10 years later in 2023 by Max Verstappen when we won 10 in a row.
