Formula 1 Drivers

As of the end of the 2024 season there are only 20 drivers who are able to race in Formula 1 on a full-time basis.

All drivers are considered the best at the sport with Formula 1 being the 'pinnacle' of the sport.

There were only 3 World Champions on the grid in 2024. Lewis Hamilton (7), Max Verstappen (4) and Fernando Alonso (2).

There are, however, 13 race winners out of the original 20 we had at the start of 2024. Lewis Hamilton (105), Max Verstappen (63), Fernando Alonso (32), Valtteri Bottas (10), Daniel Ricciardo (8), Charles Leclerc (8), Sergio Perez (6), Carlos Sainz (4), Lando Norris (4), George Russell (3), Oscar Piastri (2), Pierre Gasly (1) and Esteban Ocon (1).
