Mercedes F1 W05 (2014) Lewis Hamilton #44 championship winning car 1:43

The W05 was the 2014 Mercedes F1 Team car driven by Lewis Hamilton #44 and Nico Rosberg #6 where Mercedes had a 100% podium record across both cars in the first year of the regulation change in which Mercedes aced it.

Hamilton’s individual season is one to be quite interested in. After retirement in Australia, Hamilton came back to win the Malaysian Grand Prix, starting with a pole position and ending with the fastest lap. However, the season took a massive turn from the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Hamilton’s teammate Nico Rosberg was leading the championship by 29 points with 7 races remaining, winning the next 5 Grand Prix then finishing second in Brazil and then finally getting the win in Abu Dhabi, sealing 50 points in the double points race and lapping his title rival and teammate Nico Rosberg, winning the championship by 67 points.

The W05 was the first Mercedes car in the hybrid era or F1 with both car winning 16 of the 19 races - 90.5%(Hamilton - 11, Rosberg - 5)
